WASHINGTON: Private industry can track you through your credit card purchases, but our federal government can’t find several million illegal immigrants living and working in the U.S.—America’s immigration system is a failure.

In an interview with Jed Babbin, editor of Human Events, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich says while the government can’t give the American people what they want, the private sector can. It’s one of many innovative solutions to America’s most dire problems introduced in Gingrich’s New York Times bestseller Real Change: From the World That Fails to the World That Works.

Gingrich says the liberal media elite don’t want you to know that Americans are united on many of the issues that we are constantly told we are divided on. When it comes to immigration, 89% of Americans support a tamper proof identification card that would allow the government to track legal and illegal workers entering and working in the U.S.

  • Bow Wow! Obama Does it Again
First the Saudi King and now the Japanese Emperor! I’m surprised Obama didn’t apologize for the U.S. winning WW2! Obama bows to Emperor Akihito during trip to Japan Saturday. From the L.A. Times: “Very low bows like this are a sign of great respect and deference to a superior.” Hot Air has the video. We’re also reminded of the [ […]

Well, gang, it’s time for the Gentlemanbeggar to take a little break from posting.  Today I offer up #100 plus a little something extra! And now, breaking from my usual rules a little, I fudged some and removed two characters for this one. It seemed a fitting way to mark this milestone… [...]
